Ba Sleeping Bags
Article by Tom Gray
Baby sleeping bags are commonly used today to ensure that the baby is comfortable, secure and warm at night. There are many varieties of these bags and are designed specially for all your baby’s needs. Regardless of how the baby sleeps at night, if you use the sleeping bag you can be assured of its safety. These bags are available in all sizes and at affordable prices. Although it is not clear when the baby should start sleeping in these bags, it is important to include it in the baby’s shopping. There are many reasons why your baby should sleep in these bags, and therefore you need to consider some factors before buying the bag.
One of the major reasons why the baby sleeps in this bag is because the bag helps to dictate the sleeping pattern of the child. In addition, when your baby is safely tucked in the sleeping bag you are sure of its safety and you need not check its whereabouts now and then at night. The sleeping bag will help your baby to stay healthy since he will be protected from cold.
When buying the sleeping bag for your baby, there are a number of things that you need to put into consideration. One thing is the current season, during hot seasons it is advisable that you consider buying a lighter bag for your child to avoid overheating. The opposite will also apply during cold seasons. They are available in different weights and are rated according to the warmth they offer. Therefore, design and weight should be the first thing that you need to look out for before buying this item.
The size of the sleeping bag also matters a lot since a huge bag might not prevent the baby from sliding inside. This would be very dangerous since the baby could suffocate inside the bag without you noticing. At the same time a smaller bag is not very comfortable since it may not be able to kick its legs freely. Consider picking a bag with deep sleeve allowances to enable free movement of air.
A comfortable sleep is very essential for the growth of your baby. This is the reason why you need to purchase baby sleeping bags for your baby. They are available in different designs and colors in any baby shops and you can choose any size. You can also purchase these sleeping bags online and they will be delivered to you.
Baby sleeping bags are baby products that keep your little one comfortable in any situation at home or camping.

Introducing Grobags baby sleeping bags by The Gro Company | Bubalot.com
The Gro Company introduced the Gro Bag in 2000 & in just 5 years, usage of sleeping bags for babies increased from 0% to 80%. Many mothers now recognise the benefits of fitted sleeping bags. Gro Bags keep children at a healthy temperature and prevent them from rolling on their stomachs during sleep; helping to reduce some of the common risks associated with SIDS. Unlike blankets, which can become loose, the Gro Bag stays fitted comfortably during the night, so your child will sleep peacefully through the night — which means the rest of your family can too! warm and easy to use,
We got this for our 6 month old to wear because not only do we have cold Midwest winters to deal with, but her room tends to be the coldest in the house. I tried other wearable blankets, but they didn’t seem to be warm enough. I also tried a blanket tucked into the end of the crib (so she can’t pull it up over her face or get tangled in it), but she would wriggle out and wake up because she was cold (at least that’s what I think was happening). She seems to be sleeping much better with her baby sleeping bag. We usually put her in footie PJs first, then the bag. Overall I think it was a good purchase.
PROS:
-no loose blankets for her to get caught in or cover her face (decreases risk of SIDS)
-when I change her in the morning her feet are toasty warm
-it’s harder for her to roll around in her crib in this because of the bulk, which is good for now because when she rolls onto her stomach she wakes up and gets mad because she hasn’t learned to roll back yet!
-reasonable price
-good length – she will probably be able to wear it for at least 2 winters before it’s too short
-snaps in the armholes are great – easy to get her arms in and out, and then snap them so she’s nice and snug
-I have thrown it in the washer and tried drying it in the dryer – no problems!
-zipper starts at feet – great for diaper changes during the night
-I like the little snap at the top of the zipper by her face, keeps the end of the zipper covered
CONS:
-color is a little “uglier” than in the photo. Not quite sure how else to describe it (maybe a little more washed out?)
-hidden zipper is no longer hidden after one wash. I don’t really care about this but just an FYI if that matters to you
-although it never covers her face, it does ride up a bit in front. It’s enough so she can put her chin down and suck on the fabric, so it gets all wet.
