Purchased this gown for my son when he was 6 months as an alternative to a blanket. It's well made and very good quality material. Washes well despite seeming light weight. Good for warm summer or fall when you don't want your baby to get chilled with the C/A.

These muslin sleep sacks are the best out there - hands down. They are lightweight muslin so they retain warmth but are also breathable and lightweight enough for the summer. We have tried many other sleep sacks out there and they just do not compare to Aden and Anais.

I really like the hand feel of this sleeping bag. It is a single layer cotton muslin and great for hot summer nights. The big issue that I had with this product is that my child managed to lietrally 'kick' a hole through it (the side seam binding came apart from the main muslin fabric). The actual fabric and detail of the sleeping bag is beautiful - I just think that the company maybe should have reinforced the side seams a little bit better for 'kickers'. Also my toddler did manage to make the fabric on the back shoulder 'pull apart' a little bit. Both of these things happened only after about three uses... lovely hand feel and detail though - just maybe not great for those little ones who toss and turn a little bit at night.

i ordered this after going through several sleep nests. i've used summer infant, aden & anais, and halo innovations. my baby's room gets pretty cold at night (we live in san francisco and sonoma county) and i typically have to keep a space heater in the rom to keep her warm. i don't like using blankets because she tends to twist herself in them and i don't feel it's safe overall. the aden & anais sleep sacks are super soft, but they wear out and snag easily. halo and summer infant sleep sacks are fine, but they don't keep my baby as warm as i'd like. she wakes up very cool to the touch and her hands are icicles.

with the deedee sleep sack, none of the aforementioned problems exist. she's warm, but not over-heated. the temperature in her room dips between 65-69 degrees and the deedee sleep sacks do great. for reference, i put her in cotton pajamas at night. during the colder nights, i'll put socks on her and if it's not too cold, i'll put her in a onesie with no socks.

the deedee sleep sack was pricey, but it's worth every penny. one thing i've noticed is that it seems to run small, but my baby is long for her age. she's 9 months old and about 22 pounds and i ordered the large. i originally got the medium, and though it fit, she would have outgrown it in about a month. the large is HUGE, but at least she can use it for a while. also, the large does not have the handy button tabs at the shoulders. other than a couple of small points, this is the perfect sleep sack. i will be purchasing this again for our next baby and will be giving them as gifts to my friends. great product!

This sleepsack is nice and warm, and easy to get on and off with the shoulder snaps. It is actually fluffier than I expected and seems quite cozy. I don't understand why these things have to be so expensive, but there didn't seem to be any better priced options that were this warm.

I bought the 6-18 month size for my 10th percentile 13 month old thinking it should fit him through the winter no problem. It doesn't have a lot more room for him to grow, and I'm not sure it will fit for another 4 months.

I bought it to replace a Halo sleepsack which was not warm enough for winter in our house. My son could easily walk around in the Halo sack since it is relatively wide at the bottom. The Baby Deedee sleep sack is close fitting and does not really allow him to walk. The first morning in it, I found him standing awkwardkly in his crib with his feet far from the side, leaning over to hang on the side. I think he was stuck! We probably need to modify our bedtime routine to put the sleep sack on just before saying goodnight (instead of at the same time as pj's, then picking out books to read, etc.), but I still think the lack of mobility in it is going to be a problem.

I would give it more stars if the cut was more generous in terms of sizing and allowing for mobility.

worked okay for a few days, but then i had to shrink it b/c its just too stretchy. once he stretched it back out again i had to shrink it again. i had to stop using it after two weeks.

This is a great sleep sack and it stretchy, but that helps baby slowly transition from a tight swaddle, such as SwaddleMe or Miracle Blanket, to completely free hands. The are three problems with this sleep sack, one, the arms convert from being inside to one sticking out than the other. There are poppers closing the arms. This should be closed with something different as the poppers dig into my sons arms when his arms are through them. Secondly, this is not fire retardant, and no baby should be put to bed in something flammable. Thirdly, this is not for use in the dryer. My son needed to sleep in this every day, when did I have time to air dry it? Saying all this, however, I would purchase this from the get go in the newborn-3 month size, and then transition the baby to the 3-12 month size. The problem with most swaddles is that they age out at 3 months but some babies need more restriction as they get older. This allows for the restriction and slow transition to sleeping with arms free safely. Also, it can be used as a lightweight sleep blanket once the baby is swaddle free--except for the problem with those popper marks on the arm. . all in all a good product. I would buy it again.
